GIEDRĖ BUROKAITĖ is an accomplished Lithuanian film producer with a background in Cultural History and Anthropology (BA) and Arts Management (MA). Since entering film production in 2012, she has produced numerous short films and the acclaimed feature-length documentary “Animus Animalis” (dir. Aistė Žegulytė), showcased at notable festivals like DOK Leipzig and CPH:DOX. In 2015, Giedrė established a film production platform within the NGO “Meno avilys” and co-founded “Akis bado” in 2019 with director-animator Robertas Nevecka.

An Emerging Producers graduate, she is currently involved in the production of animated films as well as fiction features. In 2024, Giedrė produced the debut fiction film “Toxic” by director Saulė Bliuvaitė, which won the prestigious Pardo d’oro at the Locarno Film Festival.
